Dental Assistant Radiography Certification - Pablo
The in-person course is offered over two days.
The first day of the class is May 27, 8 AM-5 PM, SKC campus, Pablo (lunch included). The first day consists of lecture from 8 AM-5 PM, including learning activities and mini quizzes. Lunch is provided onsite.
The second day of class is May 29, 9-10 AM, UM Campus, Missoula. On the second day, a one-hour proctored written exam will be taken from 9-10 AM. Students must complete all eight hours of the class and score at least 80% on the written exam to pass.
This also coincides with the MDA Annual Meeting, in Missoula.
The fee is $200 per registrant, including lunch on both days and opportunity to attend the Annual Meeting CE course with Dr. Uche Odiatu Friday afternoon.

The Dental Assistant Radiography Certification Course is an overview of the basic principles of radiology as it applies to dental auxiliaries, including but not limited to:
- Purpose and Technique
- Radiation Safety
- Infection Prevention and Control
Participants are provided a study guide in advance.
Upon successful completion of the course, the dental auxiliary will receive a Radiology Proficiency Certificate from Salish Kootenai College. This certificate will legally qualify the individual to expose X-rays in the State of Montana.
