Silent Auction Winners

The Foundation's mission is to support initiatives and programs that promote, provide or improve oral health for all Montanans through the support of dental education and access to care. MOHF is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit charity governed by a board composed of dentists and leaders from the community at large.
MOHF conducts several major fundraising efforts - a membership donation campaign, a Silent Auction at the MDA Annual Meeting, and a golf outing called, "Tees for Teeth." Most donations come from member dentists, although contributions from all sources are welcome!
Donations support Montana students entering dental school and at the Great Falls College-MSU dental hygiene and dental assisting programs and the Salish Kootenai College dental assisting program. MOHF has also provided college pre-dental clinics, dental supplies for charitable care, elementary schools student dental sealants, Access to Baby & Child Dentistry (ABCD) training, MDA's oral health public awareness campaign, and more. In 2021, MOHF contributed $25,000 towards the Great Falls College-MSU dental clinic's expansion enabling the school to train and graduate more dental hygienists.

MOHF supports Community Preventive Dentistry Events

Growing Up Smiling!
On March 2nd, 2019 the Sixth District Dental Society hosted 'Growing Up Smiling!'. The event was held at the Bozeman Public Library with the goal of greeting the youngest in our community and engaging in activities to share our love of oral health! Volunteers included pediatric dentists, dental hygienists, dental assistants, pre-dental students from MSU, Sealant for Smiles and other community members. We were also joined by a nutritionist and two speech therapists and a special surprise guest, Montana Senator Steve Daines and his wife. Even with the snowy weather we welcomed many happy faces to our photo booth, our educational stations and sent them on their way with tooth brushes and oral health supplies thanks to Montana Oral Health Foundation! Thank you to everyone who supported the oral health of the children of Gallatin Valley!
