How to Contact: The Dental Assistant Team Lead is the clinical leader and provides oversight, leadership, and mentorship to fellow Dental Assistants. He/She will provide chair-side assistance during a wide array of dental procedures and effective coordination of the back-end clinical team and the front office staff. They will also be responsible for providing support to the Dental Practice Manager for the day-to-day functions of the dental office. Performs other duties as assigned by Dentist to Practice manager and must demonstrate a sincere dedication and loyalty to the core values of Sandcreek Dental.

Essential Duties:
Ensures the office delivers quality and compassionate care to every patient and provides excellent customer service.
Ensures compliance with Infection Control policies and procedures.
Responsible for the training and the efficient transition and adaptation of new dental assistant staff.
Coordinates Dental Assistant assignments.
Works well under pressure and demonstrates cooperative behavior and teamwork with supervisor, subordinates, colleagues, patients, and the community.
Responsible for ensuring dental equipment is working properly and be point of contact with supply representatives and service technicians.
Responsible for managing inventory of all dental supplies, products and equipment.
Assists professional dental staff with treatment regularly.
Ensures all patients are guided through the appropriate processes before treatment, are properly educated about treatments, and are provided postoperative instructions, as applicable.
Capable of, and willing to work the front desk if needed.
Pursues own professional growth and development through obtaining/maintaining specialty certification(s).

Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
X-Ray Certification required.
Minimum of 3-5 years' experience as a Dental Assistant.
Demonstrated supervisory ability. Previous dental leadership experience preferred.
